Meet Our Teaching Artist
Chantel Price
Founder & CEO
She is a Philadelphia Native trained in ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, modern, and majorette dance, with experience at PHILADANCO!, Philadelphia School of Dance Arts, Progressive Center of Dance, and Kutztown University’s Black Flame Dance Team. Chantel earned her bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University and her MBA from the University of Phoenix. Guided by the motto, “Building Dancers for Life After the Studio,” she is committed to developing confident, disciplined, and versatile dancers who are prepared to succeed both on and off the dance floor.

Lasina Jones
Admin Assistant
Sina Jones began her journey with L’levate Dance Studio as a dancer, where she received her training, discovered her passion for dance, and continues to grow as an artist. With more than 10 years of dance experience, she proudly continues to dance, train, and develop her craft while also serving behind the scenes.
For more than five years, Sina has served as the Administrative Assistant at L’levate Dance Studio, supporting the dancers, families, staff, and studio community she loves. From the dance floor to the front office, she is grateful to be part of a studio that has played such an important role in her journey.

Tamia Perdue
Teaching Artist/ Majorette Coach
Tamia began dancing at the age of three, receiving her early training at PHILADANCO! before expanding her experience at various dance studios throughout Philadelphia. Her training in multiple styles has allowed her to develop a well-rounded foundation and a deep appreciation for all forms of dance.
Tamia also helped establish Temple University’s first majorette dance team, combining her passion for dance, performance, leadership, and mentorship. She is committed to creating an encouraging environment where dancers feel inspired to challenge themselves, build confidence, and genuinely enjoy the art of dance. Tamia looks forward to sharing her knowledge, energy, and love for dance with every student this season.
Mali Branch-Rowell
Teaching Artist
Mali Branch-Rowell is a dancer, instructor, and college student pursuing degrees in Dance and Business. She began dancing at the age of six and has trained with L’levate Dance Company, Eleone, and the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts. Her extensive dance training includes ballet, modern, jazz, African, hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary, liturgical, and tap.
Mali has also served as a teaching artist for L’levate’s Summer Dance Intensive, where she instructed beginner, intermediate, and advanced dancers in jumps, leaps, and turns. She is passionate about sharing her love for dance while helping students strengthen their technique, confidence, and creativity. Mali is committed to creating a positive and enjoyable classroom environment where every dancer feels encouraged to grow, have fun, and reach their full potential.
Amber Wiggins
Teaching Artist
She is a South Philadelphia native, dancer, and educator whose journey in dance began at the age of three through the Angelic Praise Dance Ministry. She received more than a decade of classical ballet training at the Rock School for Dance Education, performing in productions such as The Nutcracker and Swan Lake. She later continued her training at PHILADANCO!, Gwendolyn Bye Dance Center, and Koresh Dance Company.
Amber graduated magna cum laude from Johnson C. Smith University with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance. During college, she performed as a majorette dancer with the International Institution of Sound Marching Band for four years and served as captain for three. Guided by resilience, discipline, faith, and leadership, Amber is passionate about helping young dancers build confidence, embrace their individuality, and reach their full potential.
Kristian Johnston
Teaching Artist
She began her dance journey at the age of three at Dominion Arts. At 13, she continued her technical and competitive dance training through Chantel Price’s dance program, where she later served as Competition Team Captain and mentored younger dancers.
Before becoming an instructor, Kristian served as a teacher’s assistant in ballet, modern, and jazz. She officially began teaching at the age of 16 under Chantel Price. Kristian later attended Slippery Rock University, where she became a lead choreographer, and went on to establish Top Knotch Entertainment. She is passionate about teaching contemporary dance and creating an encouraging environment where dancers can develop their artistry, confidence, and self-expression.
Keyara Williams
Teaching Artist
Keyara has been a dedicated member of Llevate Dance Studio for eight years, training in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and modern dance. She is also a former member of the Virtuous Divas Majorette Team. For the past four years, Keyara has shared her experience and passion for dance as an instructor at Llevate, helping young dancers develop their technique, confidence, and love for performing.

Anthony K. Smith
Teaching Artist
Anthony K. Smith, a Philadelphia native, has danced since age three and trained at West Philadelphia High School, Progressive Center for Dance, Mickey’s Dance School, Bodies in Motion, Philadanco, and the University of the Arts. He began choreographing in 1997 and has worked with respected artists, including Chauntee Andrews, Itola, Wayne St. David, Ron Koresh, Kim Bears, Scott Jovovich, Brian Sanders, Carol Cubbage Davis, Anthony Burrell, and Mia Michaels. He has performed with Grace, Me’lenge, Bodies in Motion, Perfect Combination, and other companies.
Anthony has taught at numerous schools, studios, theaters, churches, and community organizations, including CAPA, South Philadelphia High School, Mastery Charter School, New Freedom Theatre, Dance4Ever, and Llevate Dance Studio. He currently serves as Rehearsal Director and Head Choreographer for DanceInPhinity and as a board member and Director of Dance and Culture for SmallHouse Productions. Anthony remains committed to dance, education, and inspiring others through the arts.
Andrea Carney
Teaching Artist/ Majorette Head Coach
Andrea A. Carney is a Philadelphia native who began her formal dance training at age four at L&L Dance Productions. She later attended Touch of Class Dance Studio, where she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and modern and traveled throughout the country as a member of its competition team.
Andrea expanded her training into hip-hop and performed with companies and crews including Flo-Motion, Nyce Stylez, In Da Clutch, and Academy of Phresh. Her performance credits include Paula Abdul’s Live to Dance, World of Dance, and Power 99’s Power Squad, where she choreographed and performed at the station’s annual Powerhouse concert.
With more than 23 years of dance experience, Andrea teaches children and adults throughout Philadelphia. She currently serves as Director of Llevate Dance Studio and coach of its award-winning Virtuous Divas Majorette Team. Andrea is passionate about sharing her love for dance while helping students build confidence, discipline, and strong performance skills.
Daminiq Ortiz
Teaching Artist
Born in Camden, New Jersey, and raised throughout South Jersey and Philadelphia, Daminiq Ortiz, professionally known as “Niq,” discovered her passion for the arts at an early age. A true triple threat, she is skilled in dancing, singing, and acting.
Niq has trained under Kenny Clutch, Ricky “Glitch” Evans, Akia Deyvon, and Raheem “Skillz” Harrington. She is an alumna of Creative Reaction Dance Company and has performed as a backup dancer for artists including Tre Prada and Rob Base. Hardworking and dedicated to her craft, Niq brings passion, versatility, and energy to every aspect of the performing arts.
